Delightfully relaxing experience at Equator Coffee, with great-tasting coffee from a local, family-owned business in the heart of Barrhaven! Having owned a similar business in the past, I was pleasantly surprised to find the staff here to be super-friendly, professional, and efficient. Their smiles were genuine, and service was fast! The atmosphere is welcoming, inviting, and relaxing. We loved all the living plants! In the location of the old Starbucks in Indigo Marketplace, Equator Coffee fills a needed gap with better product and exceptional, personal service. This will definitely be a great go-to coffee place for all ages!
I absolutely adore their iced matcha lattes. I often come here with my friend or sister and we all adore the workers there. They’re extremely kind and patient. Anytime they’ve mistakenly messed up my drink, they fix it right away. They’re super sweet and I love how they’re directly connected next to indigo, its a perfect mix of coffee shop and bookstore. Studying here is fun too! Although the seating can be uncomfortable, I will always come here for the matchas. Price is a little over, but definitely worth it.
Staff are wonderful, they’re all so kind, excellent service. Loved my coffee and enjoyed the beautiful calm atmosphere.
equators is now my go too coffee place hands down!! they have such a lovely and warm environment with such kind workers! the food as well as the beverages always are so tasty and unlike anything you could get at tim’s or any other fast food place! definitely my new favourite place for a sweet treat or drink!! highly recommend!

Equator is my top pick for coffee and baked goods! The Chai Latte and Espresso Brownie, specifically, has got me coming back again and again and again. The atmosphere of Equator is very warm and welcoming and each person I’ve encountered there has been really friendly and given me excellent service. The food there is super fresh and something you could never get at a Tim Hortons or Starbucks. It’s truly a one of a kind experience. Whether you like coffee or not I’d definitely recommend giving Equator a visit sometime and experiencing it for yourself!!
Expected this to be a larger coffee shop but found out it is a small outlet in the indigo Kids store. Aside from the above, the experience was good. Food and coffee were good (especially the coffee). Staff were really nice and friendly, particularly the guy who greeted us. Would not mind going again.
This place never fails to satisfy a coffee hankering!! I love the calming atmosphere and how the staff are always so welcoming. Will always be my go to suggestion for a place to meet up. Totally recommend the iced vanilla latte it is scrumptious but so everything on their menu!! All in all an amazing coffee shop and excellent experience!!
